My interview on the ITN’s YouTube channel ‘Truthloader” on recent attempts by migrants to cross the EU border at Melilla, Spain’s Moroccan enclave. Following the further militarization of the ‘central Mediterranean route’ after the tragedy of Lampedusa, more migrants are choosing to cross the often treacherous fences, but as I explain in the interview, Spain’s response is changing after criticism from the EU in February.
